EquinOCS is Springer Nature’s digital solution for Conference proceedings and Edited Volumes. Listed below is a process description of the standard submission process as it is supported by EquinOCS:

Volume Editor/PC Chair

  1. gets invitation to EquinOCS
  2. can then access EquinOCS
  3. configures the project
  4. initiates a call for papers

Authors

  1. can then access the project
  2. initiate a submission

Volume Editor/PC Chair

  1. invites reviewers if bidding is required

Bidders/Reviewers

  1. receive an invitation to EquinOCS
  2. can then access EquinOCS
  3. bids for papers
  4. reviews papers
  5. reviews revisions

Volume Editor/PC Chair

  1. receives reviewers recommendations
  2. decides on reviewed paper
  3. notifies author of decision

Authors

  1. receives a notification to revise or of a rejection or of an acceptance
  2. uploads revision or final paper

Volume Editor/PC Chair

  1. creates and exports the final volume for production
